Step 1 was learning how to pickle, accomplished last summer with Emily and Amy. Step 3 will be perfecting growing and pickling techniques. Step 4 will be feeding them to you, dear readers.

Kate, you deserve a jar for coming up with such a cool name : ) BTW, I also have my eye on my mother's tomato plants, which I am plant-sitting this summer. I'm thinking I might need to do a batch of green tomato pickles.

oooh if you do green tomato pickles, I'll require an online video tutorial please :) We have about 15 tomato plants growing right now!
