Remembering Z
He was a cool dog--the best frisbee catcher I've ever seen, a brave guard dog, and scott's best buddy. Our family will never be the same. I'm gonna miss you, Z. You're a good boy.

Runs in the Family
Django got a buzz cut for the summer. I keep giggling because he now reminds me of my dad's pictures from when he was a boy. And, why shouldn't a boy look like his grandpa? (tee hee)

Art School
Tillie likes to draw dinosaurs, her school friends, flowers, animals that are farting, and winged unicorns with stars on their butts. From my objective p.o.v, she's kind of a drawing genius.
Django is getting caught up in the excitement, too. He likes to draw robots and fish. At least that is what he claims they are. In case you were wondering, they all look like random squiggles. However, the other night we had a mini artistic breakthrough. I asked if he wanted to draw a snail and he drew a pretty decent coil--no kidding! Sadly, it was on his magne-doodle and I didn't get the camera out soon enough, so I could not preserve it for all of momkind to cherish for eternity.
